This is a sweet little car that I bought about eight years ago from Mercedes Benz of Hagerstown. It starts great all of the time and drives like a rocket, but it has a lot of little mechanical problems. I have a family now and just bought a reliable albeit boring car so I am selling this at a low price with no reserve in hopes that someone with mechanical chops can get a real steal. The closest Jag dealer is hours away in Chantilly and I have no idea how to do any of these fixes myself, so have at it. It starts great. A few years ago in the winter it had some trouble starting but it turned out to be one of the connectors to the battery. Has started perfectly since. Has plenty of brakes left and a decent amout of tires, but could use an alignment. The radio and CD player works great and sounds great, but I don't have the 6-CD changer. The lights all work and the windows go up and down fine with the switches. The car is actually pretty clean inside and out and would clean up really well. The bad news: Automatic key lock does not work, and locking it with the one key does not work on all doors. The trunk is stuck shut and must be opened from inside the trunk. A new key will supposedly fix this. I keep the back seats sitting on a shut latch so that I can get in the trunk if I need to open the trunk. Because the key is messed up, the system thinks that a door is open all of the time, so I keep the interior lights off inside. The cloth on the interior roof is coming off and held on with clips. The baby seat clip in the back on the left is missing.
